On 12 May 2016, we changed our domain name from ochsundjunior.ch to ochsundjunior.swiss. We were the first Swiss watch company with a .swiss web address.
Later in 2016, the Swiss Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) created a “dot.swiss Success Stories” campaign, and we were chosen to be a part of it. A film crew was sent to our workshop in Lucerne. They spent the entire day with us, and our whole team appears in the video. It gives a nice overview of ochs und junior’s internet efforts.
Ludwig Oechslin and Beat Weinmann are speaking Swiss German in the video. This morning we added English subtitles to OFCOM’s video ourselves – of course with their permission.
