Spring

Little orange-coloured balls  –  orange dots… It always happens when you’re busy thinking about other things… the orange dots suddenly appear  –  at play…

Spring has arrived in Lucerne  –  as have the school holidays. Anne-Sophie is testing her settimana junior in the warm sunshine…

Peter has taken delivery of the metals for the anno cinquanta’s case from Précinox: this week sees him make a start on turning and milling the initial thirty watches  –  three lots of ten in each of the three materials.

Paul and his team are working on the movements, while Vico is holidaying in Italy… Maybe he’s trying to persuade Italian baristas to use even less water for his ultra-condensed espressos  –  or maybe he’s thinking about watches…

Sjoerd is making best use of the perfect light in his work loft to draw the comic that will accompany the settimana junior.

Margaretha is busy stitching the leather wallets for the anno cinquanta  –  while I’m meditating on orange dots… by the light of the spring sun, they’re really very beautiful!
