SWISS

| Cail Pearce

Switzerland’s national airline  –  SWISS  –  dedicated its first Bombardier CS300 to the people of western Switzerland. The airline commissioned Swiss artist Mathias Forbach to draw symbols of life in western Switzerland for its new plane’s livery.

Western Switzerland is the home of Swiss watchmaking, so a watch needed to be included. But this plane and video were meant to celebrate the entire watchmaking culture, not a particular brand. In the “Innovation” section of the video at 01:59, if you watch closely, you can spot an ochs und junior perpetual calendar being assembled  –  which with no logo on the dial, fits such a purpose quite well. We’re proud to have been included!
