Setting your watch

New owners: we always set your watch to the correct time and date for your time zone before shipping it to you. Since we use FedEx, and your watch has a 38 hour power reserve, there is a chance it will still be running when you open the box. In this case there is nothing to do, except wear your new watch to wind its automatic movement! If your watch has stopped, you will just need to follow the shorter, first set of instructions. Please contact us if you have any questions.

If your watch has stopped for a few days

Step 1

Turn the crown counterclockwise to unlock it. A spring will push the crown out to position 0 when it has unlocked. Turn the crown clockwise approximately 30 times. Your watch has now reached its maximum power reserve of 38 hours. If you wear your watch regularly throughout the day, you will not need to wind it again. The automatic winder will do that for you.

Step 2

Pull the crown out to position 2 and turn the hands clockwise until the correct date is displayed. Then, continue turning the hands until the correct time is displayed in the 24 hour cycle.

Step 3

Re-lock the crown by twisting it clockwise while gently pushing it in. Please do not apply too much force when doing so, as this might damage the thread, especially for cases made of sterling silver 925.

If your watch has stopped for a longer time

Step 2

Pull the crown out to position 2, and turn the hands forwards (clockwise) past midnight until you see the date change. Then you will know where you are in the 24-hour cycle. Set the current time.

Step 3

Important: the date should not be adjusted between 8 PM and 2 AM. After making sure the time is not between 8 PM and 2 AM, push the crown one position back (position 1) and turn the crown clockwise until the correct date is displayed.

Step 4

Re-lock the crown by twisting it clockwise while gently pushing it in. Please be careful not too apply much force when doing so, as this might damage the thread, especially for cases made of sterling silver 925.
